Three new salad dressing flavors are coming to a store near you.
Girard's Premium Salad Dressings announced this week the launch of their new summer flavors: apple poppyseed, creamy balsamic and peach mimosa. The company also unveiled a contemporary new label design for its signature triangle-shaped bottle.
"For today's sophisticated consumer, salad is often becoming the main course at dinner parties and luncheons," said Brandy Wardlow with Marzetti Specialty Brands. "As the salad becomes more sophisticated with the addition of exotic ingredients and the latest culinary trends, the dressing should be just as complex."
The company says their new dressing flavors appeal to all varieties of salad enthusiasts, from the adventurous to the traditionalist.
Girard's says their creamy balsamic salad dressing is a new take on traditional balsamic vinaigrette dressings. The balsamic vinegar base includes hints of garlic, onion and other spices.
The apple poppyseed salad dressing is a creamy dressing made with poppyseeds and touches of molasses, onion and apple juice and the peach mimosa dressing is a combination and white wine vinegar mixed with the spices and the hint of peaches.
The new dressings are currently available in grocers that carry Girard's Premium Salad Dressings.
